Giselle Lundy-Ponce
Giselle Lundy-Ponce has been working in the field of PreK-12 education policy, research and advocacy for the last thirty-two years. In her current role with the American Federation of Teachers she manages the educational rights and social justice initiatives and policy team and leads the AFT’s policy and professional development portfolio on early childhood education, English language learners, Native American students and Latino student achievement. In 2004 she initiated the partnership with public television WETA’s Learning Media Department to develop Colorín Colorado.
