Jordan Beal

Jordan Beal is currently an Assistant Director for one of Fairfax County Public School’s before and after-school programs. Previously, she worked as a Research Fellow for the Albert Shanker Institute and as a Lead Child Youth Development Teacher at the YMCA of Orange County, CA. She holds a Master of Arts in Educational Transformation with a concentration in Advocacy & Policy from Georgetown University and a B.A. in Integrated Educational Studies from Chapman University. Jordan’s work primarily explores the impact third spaces, like before and after-school programming, have on students and how high-quality programming can be promoted through policy and practice.
