I don't use American news sources for anything but regional news, since having lived in Germany for 10 years. For international news, American sources are in comparison very narrow in scope and qualitatively inferior. Propaganda is not an inappropriate term. We live behind an iron curtain in the U.S. and it becomes apparent only when you get out from behind it for a length of time. Fortunately now, with the web, that's easier to do.
