New York City: The Mississippi Of The Twenty-First Century?

Comments

I am Afro-Jamaican American. I taught HS in the British system, taught under the NYC, BOE or 30 years, lectured at the University of Mosul, Iraq, did primary research on education in Africa, India, and China. Because I've actually visited schools and interviewed educators in these countries, I believe I have a unique vantage point from which to make comparisons between our education system and some of the other countries. I've been in the trenches and down on the ground with the "people" and I'd like to ask for the microphone please.
