Well, if she's not lying, then this is good old-fashioned cooking the books, or perhaps she didn't get as much out of that Ivy-League education as some think. Accurate representation of research findings is a basic requirement, isn't it? I'm no Ivy League grad, but I did learn that much, at least.

She is lying. She has an agenda and she makes statements--carefully worded statements--to support that agenda. I don't think you need to tiptoe around her intentional obfuscations. Call her out with glee!
