Rachel Wessler is a Fellow at the Albert Shanker Institute in Washington, D.C. She is completing a master’s program in Educational Transformation at Georgetown University. Rachel was an ECE teacher for five years in Washington, DC where she developed a passion for early childhood teacher professional development and home visiting as a tool for relationship building between schools and the students and families that they serve. Most recently, she was a Curriculum Specialist and then a Center Director at a Child Development Center in Washington, DC. She has a B.A. in Psychology and Political Science with a minor in Human Development and Family Studies from the University of Delaware.
