Kayla Reist

Kayla Reist is a research consultant at the non-profit Albert Shanker Institute in Washington, D.C. and is currently pursuing her Ph.D. at the University of Virginia. She recently graduated from the Educational Transformation program at Georgetown University after spending nine years in the classroom as a high school English teacher. She is interested in teacher working conditions, teacher burnout, and teacher collaboration.
