The Inequities Of AP And SAT Exams Amid Covid-19

Comments

I strongly agree that standardized testing, such as the ACT and SAT tests, make inequities prevalent, especially now that they are being prepared to be given online. In a report examining the racial gaps for the SAT testing, large disparities were already shown between Latinos and Blacks (averaging within the 400 range) from Whites and Asians (averaging in the 500 range) (Reeves, 2017). I can only imagine this gap growing even more wide if we examine results of the online version.
