Fundamental Flaws In The IFF Report On D.C. Schools

Comments

NOTE TO READERS: The original version of this post described IFF as a “real estate consulting firm.” Since I don’t think most people had heard of IFF prior to this report (at least I hadn’t), I wanted to provide a brief description of the organization, and the real estate consultant description comes directly from IFF itself, found in a large banner atop their homepage (iff.org). At least one person, however, perceived this as a disparagement of IFF’s qualifications. That was not at all my intention, but I understand how it might be misinterpreted that way. In addition, IFF is a non-profit, whereas “firm” implies otherwise (a careless mistake on my part). I have therefore changed the description to “consulting organization.”
